Whilst working with Carly Ellis, I shared with her my ideas to design a laser cut jewelry line to go alongside her clothing range. I was given full creative control, both designing and hand manufacturing the pieces.
The initial inspiration for the pieces was taken from New York architecture. They where constructed from laser git acrylic combined with multi coloured cord.
My designs where showcased in her New York Fashion Week runway presentation at Milk Studios, and featured on the front cover of The New York Times Style section.
While at Stark Design in New York City I helped to developed a Bluetooth headset with built in charging capabilities to concept level, which I continued to work on from the UK on the request of the CEO after my internship had ended.
I am currently working on a final solidworks model. The product is due to be launched on Kickstarter.com later in the year.
